|Recommended: YesWould Recommend To Anyone — This is my first time ever renting an apartment and the process has been so smooth with The Shelby All of the staff have been super kind, attentive, and responsive. My family was treated very kindly since day 1 with our tour. The communication from the leasing team was clear from the start and I did not feel like I was being conned in any way. All rules and policies are clearly laid out and if I had any questions, I was able to email and receive a prompt answer. The only hiccup we experienced was on move in day. I was not aware that the trash pick up took place at the same unloading zone that people who move in use. When I scheduled my move in time, it was not mentioned that trash pick up would be during the same day and time I reserved. Luckily, the staff was super helpful with quick resolution and had the maintenance remove the trash cans while the trash pick up wasn't there, so my dad could back the truck up to unload. As soon as we finished the truck came to pick up. My suggestion would just be to make trash pick up times known when new residents schedule their move in time. That way there's no overlap and everyone can do their thing without interruption. The community itself is very nice, clean, and quite. The noise level is appropriate. It's apartment living, you will hear noise from time to time, but it's not loud. I have had maintenence assist me twice and both times they were very responsive and came within an hour or two. They came in and did the job quickly The apartments are very nice and I have no complaints Overall, I would definitely recommend this community to anyone and hope to live here for a long time.
