The Torpedo Factory Art Center is a cross between an arts studio and exhibit space, and makes for a great place to visit, admire unique works of art, and even do a little shopping. More than 80 artists call the Torpedo Factory Art Center their studio, and you can see their creations in progress and observe the creative process at work.
You'll find two workshop spaces and seven galleries on the premises, with things like enamel art, photography, exposures, and fabric art to browse or purchase. The Alexandria Archaeology Museum is also on site, as well as The Art League School and the Discover Graphics Atelier. It’s easy to spend the day in the various spaces, especially when you break to grab a bite to eat at the EatsPlace Café & Marketplace.
The Torpedo Factory Art Center is free and open to the public seven days a week.
