Ready for #TheShelbyChallenge? Prove It!

Our residents and future residents are very lucky to have amazing amenities at The Shelby.  One of the amenities that we are incredibly excited about is our gym.  There is no other apartment community gym like ours in the area.


In designing this gym, we spent a lot of time listening to what people want out of their workout space.  We were looking to provide a superior fitness experience for all of our residents and we believe we have achieved this with The Shelby Gym.


The Shelby Gym is OPEN 24 HOURS!  As a resident (or a guest of a resident), you have the option to box, lift, run, squat, row, and ride.  You have access to free weights and several different cardio machines.  We will go into great detail about our gym and all of your fitness and workout options in a post next week, but today we are focusing on CrossFit.


You can experience the ULTIMATE workout in THE BOX.  The Box is located in the back room of The Shelby Gym.  In this room, we have built-in custom monkey bars by Gutierrez Studio, a 70″ HDTV with Apple TV and EVERYTHING you need for CrossFit, P90X, TRX, and more!


Our Superintendent from John Moriarty & Associates, Justin Zubricki (who has multiple CrossFit Certifications and is a Coach at CrossFit Fairfax & CrossFit Reston), prepared a workout fit for a CrossFit Pro.  He demonstrated his custom workout for us in THE BOX and CHALLENGED all CrossFitters to beat his time of 5:09 … do you have what it takes?  Prove it!
